Description
The Neuro Botanicals Calm 10 pack is a microdose trial pack: 10 microdose capsules of the same Calm formula sold in our 30-capsule bottle, for stressful days without feeling sedated. Each capsule holds 50mg of Golden Teacher (Psilocybe cubensis) alongside reishi, ashwagandha and L-theanine.
It’s made for one job: letting you run a short, cheap Calm trial before committing to a full bottle. If you already know you like it, the Neuro Botanicals Calm bottle is better value and has the full guide to the formula.
What’s in each capsule
| Ingredient | Per capsule | What the evidence says |
|---|---|---|
| Golden Teacher (Psilocybe cubensis) | 50mg | The psilocybin microdose. A light amount on its own |
| Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) | 275mg | A functional mushroom traditionally used for calm and sleep. Human evidence is limited |
| Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) | 100mg | An adaptogen herb. Some preparations may help stress and sleep; evidence on anxiety is unclear |
| L-theanine | 75mg | An amino acid found in tea leaves, often used for relaxed focus |
There’s no ginseng in Calm. Withania somnifera is ashwagandha, despite older listings that called it ginseng. None of the botanicals are psychoactive, but ashwagandha can make some people drowsy.
How to run a 10-capsule trial
Ten capsules is enough for a fair first look if you use them on a schedule rather than all at once.
| Plan | How it works | 10 capsules last |
|---|---|---|
| Gentle start | 1 capsule with breakfast, then 2 days off (Fadiman). Best for most people. | About 4 weeks |
| Standard microdose | 2 capsules (100mg) on dose days, then 2 days off. | About 2 weeks |
Start with one capsule for the first few doses before trying two. Keep a few notes on sleep, mood and focus, and take it at least an hour apart from caffeine, other supplements and medication. Don’t drive the first time.
Calm 10-pack reviews are mixed, which is exactly why a small pack makes sense before committing to a bottle. Research on microdosing is still early, and placebo-controlled studies have found that many reported benefits also show up on placebo.
10-pack or bottle?
The 10-pack costs more per capsule than the 30-capsule bottle, but it’s a smaller first spend. Not sure which formula suits you? Compare all five in the Neuro Botanicals range, or browse every microdose capsule we carry. Orders of $125 or more ship free.
Calm specifics: ashwagandha has been linked to rare liver injury, isn’t recommended with thyroid or autoimmune conditions, and can add to the effect of sedatives, sleep aids and alcohol. Reishi may increase bleeding risk with blood thinners and isn’t advised with immunosuppressants. Skip Calm if any of that applies to you. Don’t combine psilocybin with lithium, tramadol or MAOIs. If you take an SSRI or any other antidepressant, talk to your prescriber first; Neuro Botanicals’ own guide advises against combining microdoses with SSRIs because of a rare risk of serotonin syndrome. Avoid it if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a personal or family history of psychosis or bipolar disorder. Read our safety and mental health guide before use.
Neuro Botanicals Calm 10-pack: common questions
Is the 10-pack the same formula as the bottle?
Yes. Same 50mg of Golden Teacher and the same botanicals per capsule. Only the count and the price per capsule differ.
Will one capsule make me high?
It shouldn’t. 50mg is a light microdose. If you notice visual changes or feel impaired, stay home and keep to one capsule.
How long will 10 capsules last?
About 4 weeks at one capsule every third day, or about 2 weeks at two capsules.
Where can I buy the Neuro Botanicals Calm 10 pack in Canada?
Right here. We ship to every province and territory by Canada Post Xpresspost, in plain packaging with tracking. Orders paid before 11 AM PST ship the same business day, most arrive in 2 to 5 business days, and orders of $125 or more ship free. See the full shipping policy.
Is microdosing legal in Canada?
Psilocybin is a controlled substance under Canadian federal law, at any dose. Legal access is currently limited to Health Canada exemptions, clinical trials and the Special Access Program. Know the rules where you live before ordering.
