Dose Neurogenesis No.3 is a stacked microdose capsule from Dose: 150mg of dried Golden Teacher (Psilocybe cubensis), 300mg of organic Lion’s Mane extract and 50mg of acetyl-L-carnitine in every 500mg vegan capsule. It’s built on the same idea as the Stamets stack, with acetyl-L-carnitine in place of niacin, so there’s no niacin flush.
What sets it apart is strength. At 150mg of Golden Teacher, one Neurogenesis capsule holds half again as much as a standard 100mg microdose, and three times a 50mg capsule. Neither the Lion’s Mane nor the acetyl-L-carnitine is psychoactive. The Lion’s Mane is a hot-water extract, which Dose lists at a 7:1 ratio. “Neurogenesis” is the product’s name, not a proven effect: no human study has shown this formula grows new brain cells.
One capsule is the whole dose. Most microdose capsules hold 100mg of mushroom. At 150mg, a single Neurogenesis capsule is already at the upper end of microdosing, and two capsules (300mg) is no longer a microdose. One reviewer found it a bit strong even at twice a week.
